Meet Mia

I would love to assist you to reFlair your home!

Our experts working together

My name is Mia Lambrechts and reFlair Ideas and Interiors is my business and passion.

I have been blessed and fortunate to turn my passion for beautiful interiors into a profession, as I believe that being able to find serenity and comfort in one's home is a crucial factor in quality of life.

As I turned 40, it felt like a good time to face a new challenge: I joined Hanlie Claasen Interiors in 2017 - after which ReFlair Interiors was born in 2020. Since then I have met wonderful people, been inspired by the interior industry's amazing offerings, learnt a lot and worked on a variety of projects: each one stimulating and exciting in its own way.

I see my purpose as listening to a client's ideas and then bringing to the table perspective and context, as well as a holistic view, by applying sound design principles. True to its name, by reFlair-ing, my aim is to offer guidance and services on the subject of flair - and I would like to once again add flair to your home.

Consultations

Flair Injection consultations provide practical information, honest recommendations and loads of inspiration to make any interior seem fresh and updated again - and the objectives are as follows:

01

To assist the client in creating a space that will spark joy (thanks Marie Kondo!)

I try to take into consideration what makes the client happy as I am of the opinion that our belongings restores our memories and connects us with others and with the past.

02

To resemble the client's tastes and style

To quote Bunny Williams: "I like an interior that defies labelling. I don't really want someone to walk into a room and know that I did it"... I couldn't agree more!

03

To spare a thought for the planet

I like to make use of what is already available - and aim to move from a "take-make-dispose" approach towards a "recycle-repair-reuse" approach.

04

To make it affordable

When the client is provided with the "recipe", it enables and empowers them so that renovations can be undertaken entirely by themselves and according to their own timeframe.
